Independent Photo Imagers (IPI) is a trade association whose members are the owners of businesses in the photo finishing, digital imaging, retail of cameras and related photography goods and services, portraiture and photography industries. Headquartered in Charleston, WV, IPI members own and operate storefront locations throughout the continental United States, Hawaii, and Alaska.

SInce the participants in the forum are actually working everyday to produce photos, they often have better answers to technical problems than the answers given by technicians.
